    Description

    From the late great Gibson era when they knew Kalamazoo was at its end. Everything produced in '78 and '79 received the utmost attention because all the technicians wanted to go out with a bang and let their legacy shine in a blaze of glorious quality. This was removed from the neck of a Les Paul, not sure if it was standard or custom. I had it in my 1974 Gibson ES-175 and boy does it sing. Pretty darn high output for a neck pickup, 7.61k. I believe the bridge pickups were about 8-9k. Fantastic pickup.
