Wired on a standard Strat guard designed for 2002 & Newer US & MIM Fender Standards, Dragonfire A5 Vintage Buckers are hot wound passive pickups offering warm and clear humbucker performance. The Vintage Buckers boast an AlNiCo 5 magnet style and can provide you with smooth, strong bass and highs. For everything from Blues to Classic Rock, these humbuckers are an excellent choice for Classic LP tone with a bit more bite.
We are committed to offering customized options for your needs. These are not cookie-cutter mass-produced generic creations. We know players’ needs are varied and just as unique as they are, so we want to try to help you get what you want! PICKGUARD COLOR

*We have many other colors and styles available, but eBay listing option maximums prevent listing them all. If you don’t see what you want in the list, contact us for colors available.
*Most guards are cut from 3-ply standard pickguard materials with a beveled edge (some exceptions). Layers may vary (impacts side edging color only) at our discretion.
*Mirror guards are made from an acrylic material designed to protect the mirror finish and will reflect your unique surroundings.
*Clear, transparent, and other specialty guards may have double-sided protective covering without aluminum shielding pre-applied so you can do so if you desire.
*All guards come with electronic shielding either pre-applied or separately for easy installation if desired depending on guard color/style selected.
*Allow and expect color and pattern variation due to photo and monitor settings as well as natural product variance.

WIRING STYLE

*Pots will typically be full-size, 500K, large/long style unless your other selections contradict standard styling or your build otherwise requires different pots.

OPTIONAL UPGRADES
*If selected, we will custom wire your new guard to create the wiring upgrades you want for expanded performance options to fit your unique style. These can add convenience, functionality and performance edge to your playing. Other wiring upgrades and effects are also available - just contact us with any questions.

~~OTHER PRODUCT DETAILS~~
*This build includes a standard jack wired into your guard harness. Note that you will have to unsolder to feed the wires through your channel and then resolder. Jacks work with standard cables only and jack sockets accept standard ¼” plugs.

Abbreviated explanations for each option available for this product are noted. Orders are cut and wired to your specs and may not look the same as sample images provided. Colors are subjective and will vary based on photo/monitor settings as well as personal perception. Do not purchase if you are looking for a specific color/shade or color scheme/outcome (i.e. if our aged is too aged - or not aged enough - or our mint is not "minty" enough for you). We reserve the right to make substitutions as the selections you make, addition of effects/upgrades, and other choices for your guard may necessitate component and/or layout style changes. ~~INSTALLATION~~
No diagrams are included. Your loaded guard will come with three open wires. Red is hot and is soldered to the tip of your jack (this is pre-done for you so you'll have to unsolder, feed through, and resolder). Both blacks are grounds. One is soldered to the jack sleeve and the other is grounded to your trem/bridge. If you are unsure of your ability to successfully install, please do not purchase. Take your time for installation; do not use power tools and do not over-tighten screws or other components. If you have any questions, let us know prior to purchase or installation.

These guards will not fit anything other than specifically noted compatible models. They will not work with non-standard components or systems. Guards are not guaranteed to fit “Squiers” and will not fit “Deluxe” “Light” any Artist Series or Reissue, or anything else other than “Fender® Standard” model guitars in the years and configuration noted. Floyd Rose and Left-Handed guards are available for purchase in our store. Reference images are approximations and not to scale; variability is to be expected. Images provided are representations only. Non-standard selections may require body modifications. Your selections are your own – we will create your guard to order per your specifications so please know your needs prior to purchase.
Depending on your set-up, you may require adjustment. Ask in advance and we are happy to provide fit/compatibility information or make special arrangements if possible. DO NOT PURCHASE if you are unsure of your requirements, needs, or ability to make any required adjustments for your newly custom designed prewired guard.

We do not recommend purchasing if you are looking for a particular outcome or are trying to match an existing color/theme on your guitar. We want you to be completely satisfied with your custom loaded pickguard and thank you for understanding that we cannot guarantee a specific look.
Since we process orders as quickly as possible and each guard will be cut and wired just for you, be sure of what you want and ask any questions before completing your purchase. It is solely your responsibility to know what you need/want and what options will work for your set-up. Ask any questions regarding colors, materials, options, measurements, installation, requirements, special requests, etc. prior to purchase.

Note that we do not recommend installation using power tools as these can put too much force on the product and cause damage, this is especially true for mirror and other specialty style guards. Take your time for installation; do not use power tools and do not over-tighten screws or other components. If you elect to drill or cut your own controls or holes, please be aware that some guards are extremely difficult to drill/cut yourself if you do not have experience or proper tools. Any modification of any product invalidates the option to request or complete a return.
